Skiing is a pleasure from December to April.
Val Gardena is the destination for skiers who love variety and want to get to know a ski resort that offers equally delightful slopes for families with children as it does for World Cup stars looking for a sporting challenge. The Val Gardena ski area is part of Dolomiti Superski - the world famous association of 12 ski resorts in the Dolomites, to which you have full access with a single ski pass.
The lifts in Val Gardena and the Sellaronda are open from 5.12.2019 until 14.04.2020.

Ski tours

Skiing in Val Gardena, in the heart of the impressive Dolomites, is a special kind of event, a highlight for all fans of this popular winter sport. The Val Gardena ski area offers a wealth of ski tours for beginners as well as for demanding powder snow fans. Langkofelscharte, Roascharte and Setustal are just a few examples of day tours. Accompaniment by a local mountain and ski guide is recommended, especially in unknown terrain.

For condition training or for pleasure!
For cross-country skiers, Val Gardena is wonderfully suitable: the Vallunga in Selva, Monte Pana in St.Christina and the Alpe di Siusi above Ortisei offer unique and fantastic scenery.

Cross-country skiing in Selva
The Vallunga is located in the Puez-Geisler Nature Park, northeast of Selva. It can be reached on foot from Chalet Zenit in about 15/20 minutes.

Toboggan

Tobogganing is a pleasure that is fun for all family members! Try the Val Gardena tobogganing mountains with your sledge and enjoy pure thrills on fast descents.

Ice skating

In Selva there is the possibility to skate in the ice stadium Pranives. The ice rink is open to the public on different days from mid-December to early April.
